Phoebe Bognar

Phoebe Bognár is a flutist, composer, and performer. Her approach to creativity is sewn with vibrancy and fluidity, and explores a broad range of artistic entities and styles. Phoebe has performed in a wide range of festivals and events in Australia, Europe and the United States.

She has also performed with renowned ensembles and orchestras including Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Recherche and the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra. The use of voice, theatre, improvisation, electronics, visuals, and activism are central to her creative practice and projects. Through art, Phoebe endeavors to weave new connections and understandings– to each other and the world we live in.
