Melissa Doecke is a vibrant flautist & program curator, with creativity and diversity at the core of her artistic practice. In demand as a chamber musician, orchestral player, mentor, teacher and collaborator, Melissa is co-Director of both Inventi Ensemble and the Peninsula Summer Music Festival.
Her many achievements include the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Contemporary Masters Award, performing at the BBC Proms, solo flute album releases and Inventi Ensemble’s most recent album, which debuted on the ARIA Charts. Melissa is a strong advocate for making music accessible to all, empowering people and fostering inclusion through community outreach music activities.
