Tomomi has won numerous prizes around Japan, and has a Bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees from the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Zurich University of the Arts. She has performed both as a member and a soloist with several orchestras in Europe and Japan, including the Philharmonia Zurich and the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra.
Tomomi was a regular assistant performer at Trevor Wye's lectures in the UK, USA and Japan and was assistant teacher to Matthias Ziegler in Zurich, Switzerland. Tomomi is now teaching and performing regularly around Australia, including with the Opera Australia Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
