Paula is a Melbourne based flautist who is a founding member of the contemporary ensemble Elision, was Associate Principal Flute in Orchestra Victoria for 16 years and currently plays with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on a casual basis.

Paula has a BA (Distinction) and Graduate Diploma of Arts from the VCA where she studied with Thomas Pinschof and Margaret Crawford. Paula studied in Europe with Aurele Nicolet, Alain Marion and William Bennett.

Paula is an experienced performer, educator and recording artist performing with Australian flagship orchestras and Elision at the major Australian festivals as well as concert halls throughout Europe and Asia. Paula’s discography includes Ricordi, NMC, Etcetera, BMG, HCR and ABC Classics. Paula is currently President of the Victorian Flute Guild.
