Elissa Koppen

Elissa Koppen is a Melbourne-based flautist originally from Sydney. She is currently studying at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) under Lisa-Maree Amos and Andrew Macleod. Elissa has performed in classical concerts in Europe and China with the Australian Youth Orchestra, performed chamber music in Italy and recently toured in Malaysia, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur with MCM's Symphony Orchestra. She has also toured with Celtic Illusion across Australia since 2014.

Elissa has also performed multiple times with AYO's Momentum Ensemble, working in supported learning environments. Parallel with her performing career, Elissa enjoys inspiring young musicians, and helping them find satisfaction and success in instrumental performance.
