Join us for a day of wind playing and teacher PD!
The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance warmly invites high school students, tertiary wind players and wind enthusiasts of all ages and levels to participate in a day of collaboration, conversation and masterclasses with a great line-up of inspiring artists.
We’ve got workshop activities for bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe, saxophone and recorder to help you develop new techniques, practise strategies and enhanced interpretations to prepare you for performance success! Music educators can connect with like-minded colleagues, while students benefit from feedback on VCE and AMEB repertoire, ensemble playing skills and insights from top performers and teachers.
Presented in partnership with Clasax, the Australian Double Reed Society, Victorian Flute Guild, and Melbourne Recorder Academy, and supported by D’Addario, Flutes and Flutists, Haynes, Notus Winds, Online Virtuoso, Ozwinds, Selmer and Yamaha.
