Melbourne Chamber Choir’s final concert for 2023 is an abridged version of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio to be performed at the German Lutheran Trinity Church, 22 Parliament Square, Melbourne on Sunday 3 December at 2.30pm.

The wonderful Christmas story will be sung in German with a chamber orchestra orchestra and outstanding soloists. This abridged version keeps the traditional story centre-stage, interleaved with choruses and solos, chorales for audience participation and readings by children from the church.

The performance is part of the 150th Anniversary of the German Lutheran Trinity Church in Melbourne. Come early for the free Christmas market at 12 noon.
